Lithium-cesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatites are highly evolved granitic pegmatites enriched in lithium, cesium, tantalum, and other rare elements. They can host economically important minerals such as spodumene and may also contain tantalum-, tin-, and cesium-bearing minerals. Their coarse mineralogy and variable internal zoning strongly influence exploration, resource evaluation, and mineral processing.
